Dr. Parikh grew up in Schererville, Indiana. After graduating as valedictorian from Lake Central High School, he went on to Indiana University where he obtained a business degree from the Kelley School of Business and minors in both chemistry and biology.
Dr. Capoccia was born and raised in Kansas City. He attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate education and majored in human biology. He completed his medical school training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Dr. Maniar grew up in Munster, IN. He graduated from Munster High School and then went on to graduate from Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI and subsequent fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK.

A vasectomy is a procedure for male birth control. It entails cutting and sealing the tubes that carry the sperm from the testicles to the semen. That means that ejaculations will no longer carry sperm, preventing conception during sexual intercourse.
The procedure presents a very low risk of complications. In general, providers can carry it out under local anesthesia with no hospital stay required. While it is an effective means of birth control, a vasectomy does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
